First things first, my name is Jason Lewis. I was born in Melbourne, Australia around 19 years ago. I've lived in Australia my entire life, growing up in the country. I call myself an Australian Freelance Web Design & Web Developper, however I work for anyone, anywhere. It's just I live in Australia.
Well I'm not going to tell you every little detail; however I'll give you a quick rundown on how I got to where I am now. I first got into building websites when I was quite young, about 12 years old. I had always wondered how it is a website came to appear on the screen like it does. So, being a curious little fellow, I looked into it. I ended up teaching myself the very basics of HTML.
The first few years I spent designing websites were for personal benefit, and they weren't the greatest. Slowly I began to get a better understanding of HTML and eventually PHP. My design skills improved quite a lot as well. It wasn't until I was about 15 years old that my websites were of a reasonably high standard.
By the time I reached 17 years old I had an excellent understanding of XHTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript. I took Multimedia classes at school and flew through the work, sometimes even showing the class how certain things were done. I'm in the process of undertaking Certificate IV in Interactive Digital Media and eventually a Diploma in Interactive Digital Media.
If you would like to know more about how I got to where I am today, don't hesitate to drop me a line.
